Tooling and Dies for Forging and Trimming Turbine Blades

Condition: Very Good-Very Well Maintained Press.

Location: Northern USA – Dismantled and in Storage

This press was last used by a well-known US company in production of forged turbine blades. The blades were used in both aerospace and in gas turbine generator power plants. The blades were both forged and trimmed in the press. Dies and tooling for several families of turbine blades are available at additional cost. Heated material was feed to the press and forged and trimmed blades were conveyed away from the cell.
